We all know that smoking is bad during pregnancy. Studies show that cigarette smoke has more than 4,000 chemicals, including nicotine, carbon monoxide, cyanide, lead, and at least 60 cancer-causing compounds. These get into the blood that not only circulates throughout the body but it also disrupts the baby's oxygen supply.
